The Yamaha MG06X is a compact six-channel analog mixer for combining microphones and line-level sources into a stereo mix. Two mono mic/line channels and two stereo line channels provide connections for vocals, instruments, a keyboard, or portable audio. Its metal chassis and balanced XLR stereo outputs suit setups that need a straightforward connection to powered speakers or other compatible audio equipment.

The two mono channels offer HIGH and LOW EQ controls, an 80 Hz high-pass filter, and PAD switches for managing strong input signals. Built-in SPX effects add a choice of Hall, Room, or Plate reverb, short or long delay, and voice echo to either mono input, useful for adding ambience or echo to vocals and instruments. The mixer also supplies +48 V phantom power for condenser microphones connected to its XLR inputs.
