Sabian 12206XCN 22" HHX Complex Thin Crash (Crash Cymbal)

Using trickle down technology gleaned from years of developing some of the world’s top selling cymbals lines like Evolution, Legacy, and even Artisan, SABIAN introduces HHX Complex, a new line of exquisitely dark crash cymbals. The 22” Complex Thin Crash is big, thin and dark – with a small hand-hammered raw bell – a combination that brings out the lows and complexities of this cymbal’s tone. Big and over-hammered, the tone can get downright nasty and trashy, almost as though there’s a distortion effect built-in. This special quality lends itself to virtually any style of playing, from straight-ahead sticking to jazz brushes. In fact, the versatility to easily cross musical styles has always been a hallmark of the HHX line, and the 22” HHX Complex Thin Crash is no exception.
