Ibanez AZES40 Electric Guitar - Tungsten
The Ibanez AZES40 Electric Guitar in Tungsten is a versatile and affordable instrument, designed in collaboration with Berklee College of Music professor and YouTube guitar educator Tomo Fujita. Part of the AZ Essentials (AZES) series, it offers beginner and intermediate players a feature-rich guitar with professional-level playability and tonal flexibility.
Body & Neck: The guitar features a lightweight poplar body with a sleek Tungsten finish, paired with a bolt-on maple neck and a jatoba fingerboard. This combination provides a bright, balanced tone and smooth playability. The 25" scale length and 250mm fretboard radius make it comfortable for players of all sizes.
Pickups & Electronics: Equipped with an HSS configuration, it includes two Ibanez Essentials single-coil pickups in the neck and middle positions, and an Accord humbucker at the bridge. The dyna-MIX9 switching system, along with the Alter Switch, offers nine distinct tonal variations, allowing seamless transitions between humbucking and single-coil sounds.
Hardware: The T106 tremolo bridge with Comfort round steel saddles ensures tuning stability and expressive playing. Ibanez machine heads with split shafts facilitate easy string changes.
Design & Comfort: The All Access Neck Joint provides superior playability at higher frets, while the Mono-unit output jack enhances durability and reduces maintenance.
