About
The Fender 1961 Musicmaster is a compact, short-scale solid-body electric guitar with a 22½-inch scale and a 21-fret bolt-on maple neck. Its shorter scale makes it a distinctive option for players who prefer a more compact feel, while the rosewood fingerboard and clay-dot markers reflect the model’s period design.
A single angled neck-position pickup keeps the layout simple: volume and tone controls let you adjust the output and shape the sound directly, without a pickup selector. The early Musicmaster’s top-loading bridge has three adjustable saddles for string setup. This straightforward design suits players seeking a focused single-pickup instrument for practice, songwriting, or stage use.
This vintage instrument possess some wear on the finish and some slight blemishing on the body, but is in perfect working condition. The original hardshell case is included with this instrument.
