The Danelectro Convertible is a hollowbody acoustic-electric guitar with a Shorthorn-style design. Play it unplugged or connect it to an amplifier. Its pickup system combines a ’56 Lipstick pickup mounted across the soundhole with a piezo pickup beneath the bridge, giving you two pickup sources to blend for your amplified sound.

A blend control mixes the Lipstick and piezo pickups, while master volume and tone controls let you adjust the output. The guitar has a 25-inch scale, 21 frets, hardboard and plywood body construction, a bolt-on maple neck, and a floating bridge. The mix of acoustic-electric pickup options and straightforward controls suits players who want to shape their amplified sound from the instrument.
