Gold Tone AC-6+ Acoustic Composite Banjitar

Picking up a 5-string banjo can be an appealing proposition to guitarists seeking a fresh new tone. If you want to skip the learning curve and jump right into the banjo’s plucky projection, the AC-6+ acoustic composite banjitar is an ideal alternative. This banjo’s 11-inch composite rim, 13-inch composite resonator, and Remo LC smooth head provide an authentic banjo tone. Still, the 6-string guitar-tuned design allows you to instantly transfer your guitar skills straight into the world of banjo. From the maple neck’s radiused rosewood fingerboard to the guitar-style tuners on the headstock, guitar-friendly features abound to give you an effortlessly smooth transition from guitar to banjo. You also get a rock-solid hardware configuration of a Terminator tailpiece, Zero Glide nut, and a comfortable armrest. Finally, the AC-6+ is rounded out by an SMP sliding magnetic pickup to send even the loudest banjo-killer dreadnoughts running.
